Overview
eir business talent are currently recruiting for a ISO 27001 Lead Implementer to support the design, documentation, implementation, governance, validation and deployment of an Information Security Management System (ISMS), working with the clients existing ISMS team across a hybrid on-premises and cloud-native environment to achieve readiness for formal ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification.
- Day rate contract role
- Full time, 3 months initially – possibility for extension
- Dublin, Hybrid
Mandatory:
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of professional experience in the relevant specialised field (Information security and cyber security).
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
- Certifications:
- Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer. “Must be issued by an internationally recognised and accredited certifying body (e.g., PECB, CQI/IRCA, BSI, or APMG).”
AND
- At least one advanced cybersecurity management certification such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
Deliverables: Lead the client through ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification readiness by designing, documenting, implementing, governing, validating and deploying an Information Security Management System (ISMS), managing certification activities and supporting successful completion of the external certification audit.
Essential Skills and Competencies:
- IT Audits, Control Reviews and Certification-Readiness Assessments.
- ISO 27001 Gap Analysis and Practical Remediation Actions.
- Review of Policies, Procedures, Risk Assessments and Control Evidence.
- Risk Management, Control Ownership and Operational Security Knowledge.
- Remediation Roadmaps, Action Plans, Priorities and Dependencies.
- Internal Audit Preparation, Management Review and Corrective Action Tracking.
- Communication with Technical and Non-Technical Stakeholders.
- Guidance, Templates, Workshops and Knowledge Transfer.
- Certification-Readiness Reporting.
- Experience in Comparable Operating Environments.
- Mastery of ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and Annex A Control Themes.
Candidates must be eligible to work full time and long term in the location specified or currently hold a valid appropriate long term work Visa to apply.
