eir business talent is looking to hire an experienced Cybersecurity Architect for a 6-month contract position based in Dublin operating on a hybrid working model (3 days onsite per week and 2 days work from home)
 
The Cybersecurity Architect will design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑wide security architecture across multi‑cloud, AI and OT environments. This role is responsible for authoring key architecture artefacts, defining cybersecurity strategy and ensuring security solutions enable the business while maintaining strong protection against emerging threats.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Author and review architecture artefacts including ROMs (Rough order of Magnitude), HLDs (High Level Design) and BRDs (Business Requirement Document).
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy and architecture.
  • Recommend security controls and identify solutions that support our business partners.
  • Design and document security solutions: including security for  multi cloud environments, AI security and OT security.
  • Advise on important security-related technologies and assess the risk associated with proposed changes. Identify and prioritize critical business functions in collaboration with organizational stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and technologies to proactively protect our organization.
  • Establish cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices.Perform security reviews, identify gaps in security architecture, and develop a security risk management plan.
  • Evaluate architectures and designs to determine the adequacy of security designs and architecture proposed or provided.
  • Strong ability to balance usability and security to ensure you are a business enabler

Requirements

  • 5–10 years’ experience in cybersecurity architecture, enterprise security or cloud security.
  • Strong experience producing ROMs, HLDs, BRDs and other architecture artefacts.
  • Deep knowledge of multi‑cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Experience with AI security, OT/ICS security and emerging technologies.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks, risk management and security controls.
  • Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to balance security, usability and business needs.

Candidates should hold appropriate RTWs for Ireland i.e. Stamp1G Spousal, Stamp 4, Irish/British/EU passport.
