Overview

eir business talent is seeking a TechOps Engineer on an 6-month (Fixed Term Contract) to provide critical IT operational support during the initial go-live phase of a new warehouse. This role is essential to ensure a smooth launch, rapid issue resolution and stable IT operations as the warehouse become fully operational.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite and remote IT support during the go-live period of the warehouse opening.
  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows, Active Directory and Azure AD environments.
  • Manage device setup, patching, and software deployment using SCCM, InTune and Auto Patch.
  • Respond rapidly to incidents and service requests, ensuring minimal disruption to warehouse operations.
  • Document IT infrastructure, changes and incident resolutions.
  • Collaborate with warehouse , IT teams and vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Support business continuity and disaster recovery testing for warehouse systems.
  • Automate operational tasks using PowerShell scripts.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience supporting Microsoft Windows, Active Directory and Azure AD.
  • Strong background in patch management and device compliance (SCCM, InTune).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communicator, able to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Experience with warehouse or logistics IT environments is a plus.
  • PowerShell scripting ability.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar IT operations/support role.
  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications are an advantage.
