eir business talent are currently seeking applicants for a Project Manager / PMO professional. This is a Part-Time (2 days per week) day rate contract position located in Cork. This is a hybrid role requiring 1 day onsite per week.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / PMO professional to support the delivery and governance of a large-scale technology service environment.
This is a hands-on delivery and governance role, rather than a senior Programme Director or strategic transformation position. It would particularly suit an experienced Project Manager looking for a long-term contract where they can take ownership of programme structure, reporting, governance and delivery coordination.

What you’ll be doing

  • Coordinate project and programme plans, actions and delivery commitments
  • Chair regular governance meetings and manage agendas, actions and follow-ups
  • Own and maintain RAID and decision logs
  • Prepare governance packs, dashboards, status reports and executive summaries
  • Track KPIs, service performance and corrective actions
  • Monitor risks, issues, dependencies and escalations
  • Work with delivery teams to ensure actions and commitments are progressed
  • Provide clear updates to stakeholders on programme status
  • Maintain project documentation, processes, templates and controls
  • Support continuous improvement and track agreed initiatives
  • Step in to support the management of critical projects where required

What we’re looking for

  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is essential
  • Solid Project Management and/or PMO experience
  • Strong governance and reporting capability
  • Practical experience managing RAID logs, actions, risks and dependencies
  • Comfortable producing senior stakeholder and governance reporting
  • Strong organisation and communication skills
  • Experience working across multiple projects or workstreams
  • Technology, IT services or managed-services experience would be beneficial
