Overview
Our client is looking for an ICT Contracts Manager to join their team. The ICT Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating technology procurement and contract activities within the Technology Platforms & Solutions function. The role will support the delivery of strategic sourcing initiatives, contract renewals, supplier management activities, and procurement governance, while working closely with technical and business stakeholders. This is a daily rate contract role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead ICT procurement and contract management activities across the Technology Platforms & Solutions portfolio.
- Develop and maintain procurement plans, ensuring upcoming sourcing events, contract renewals, and supplier engagements are proactively managed.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to capture, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
- Prepare high-quality procurement documentation, including tender specifications, requirements documents, evaluation criteria, and contract schedules.
- Manage end-to-end tendering processes, including market engagement, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and award recommendations.
- Provide expert guidance on ICT procurement best practices, contract compliance, and supplier performance management.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal business units, technology teams, and external suppliers.
- Monitor contract obligations, key milestones, and renewal dates to mitigate commercial and operational risks.
- Ensure all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with organisational policies, governance frameworks, and relevant procurement regulations.
Key Professional Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience managing technology procurement projects and ICT contract lifecycles from initiation through to contract award and renewal.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, tender management, supplier evaluation methodologies, and contract negotiation.
- Experience working with a broad range of technology vendors and service providers, including software, hardware, cloud, and managed service contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with technical, commercial, and business stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical, commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience operating within regulated, public sector, or large enterprise procurement environments would be advantageous.
Educational Requirements:
- Third-level qualification in Information Technology, Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or related discipline
