eir business talent is currently seeking applicants for Data Architect for our client based in Dublin
 
Data Architect
 
Location: Dublin 1 – Hybrid Working Model: 2 days in office and 3 days remote
Duration:  12+ months contract – highly extendable
 
Key Deliverables :

  • Data Architecture artefacts
  • High Level Design
  • Low Level Design
  • Data Models
  • Data Mapping
  • Integration of 3rd party source systems data to meet strategic data acquisition requirements
  • Design of Power BI reports
  • Implementation of medallion architecture using Fabric
  • API integration
  • Develop Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

 
Key Experience :

  • Leads and co-ordinates the optimisation of data architecture;
  • Experience with high level integration designs that align with enterprise architecture and business process architecture;
  • Skills and qualifications must demonstrate ability to work with the relevant ICT technical stakeholders to define the technical requirements of the ICT environment.
  • Experience setting data architecture principles and creating data models that enable the implementation of data architecture;
  • Experience with the creation of diagrams mapping all aspects of data entities and inventory required to implement the architecture solution;
  • Possesses an appropriate level industry standard vocabulary and technical ability in the extraction, storage and transformation of data;
  • A subject matter expert focused on designing of data architecture based defined governance rules; and adheres to a given set of constraints specified at the outset of the design process.
  • Experience implementing Medallion architecture using Microsoft Fabric
  • Data Architecture – Star Schema, Semantic Model;
  • Data Manipulation & Analytics: Azure Data Factory;
  • Data Warehousing: SQL Server, Azure Synapse;
  • Data Science: R, Python;
  • Data Engineering: Microsoft Associate Level; and
  • Unified Data & Analytics Platform: Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Data Factory, Real-Time Analytics, and Power BI integration).

 
Candidates should hold appropriate RTWs for Ireland i.e. Stamp1G Spousal, Stamp 4, Irish/British/EU passport.
