eir evo talent is currently inviting applications for the position of Automation Test Lead. This is a permanent role based in Dublin offering a hybrid working arrangement with a minimum of two days onsite per week.

Role Overview
The Automation Test Lead will be a key member of the Test Function within the Project Management Office responsible for coordinating test activities across multiple projects delivered in both Agile, Waterfall and hybrid environments.This role requires a strong automation-first mindset, with responsibility for driving test strategy, governance, and execution across functional and automation teams.You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure quality delivery, while also supporting continuous improvement in tooling, frameworks, and testing standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate test activities across multiple concurrent projects
  • Support the Test Manager with governance, reporting, and assurance activities
  • Define and agree the automation strategy and approach
  • Drive an automation-first delivery mindset across teams
  • Design and support UI and API test automation frameworks
  • Allocate work across test teams and track delivery against milestones
  • Assist with test estimation and planning activities
  • Monitor progress, risks, and issues; escalate where required
  • Produce and distribute weekly test progress reports across the portfolio
  • Collaborate with Functional Test Leads for cross-functional testing phases (e.g. regression)
  • Ensure CSV compliance and documentation standards are met
  • Support test scripting and execution where required during peak workload
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of tools, processes, and frameworks
  • Engage with stakeholders and delivery teams across Agile and Waterfall environments

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • 6+ years’ experience as an Automation Test Lead in large-scale enterprise environments
  • Strong experience in SDLC, STLC, Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
  • 7+ years’ experience in C# automation scripting
  • 4+ years’ experience testing REST APIs
  • Strong experience with BDD/ATDD frameworks and acceptance testing practices
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps
  • Experience working with source control systems
  • Exposure to test automation frameworks and non-functional testing
  • Experience in CSV / GxP regulated environments or ISO finance standards (advantageous)
  • ISTQB certification (advantageous)
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, WMS, eCommerce, mobile, SAP or HR systems (advantageous)
