Overview

eir business talent are currently seeking an experienced Test Manager for an exciting contract opportunity. This role will support a major programme of work, leading testing strategy and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities across multiple workstreams and releases.
 
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Test Manager to contribute to high-profile public sector initiatives, working with business and technical stakeholders in a dynamic delivery environment.
 
Location
This role operates under a hybrid working model, with the primary location in Dublin 2. The successful candidate will be required to attend onsite a minimum of 50% per fortnight, following an alternating 2-day/3-day attendance pattern. The initial contract duration is approximately 90 days.
 
Key Responsibilities
The successful consultant will be responsible for:

  • Developing and driving the overall testing strategy for the programme
  • Managing end-to-end UAT planning, execution and reporting
  • Coordinating UAT activities across multiple projects and releases
  • Preparing, reviewing and executing test cases aligned to business requirements
  • Managing defects, risks, escalations and issue resolution
  • Supporting test data readiness and environment coordination
  • Validating business processes and supporting Go-Live readiness
  • Maintaining requirement traceability and ensuring quality deliverables
  • Supporting non-functional, integration and end-to-end testing activities
  • Coaching junior testers and supporting business UAT participants

 Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ professional experience as a Test Manager
  • Strong experience managing UAT, defect resolution and stakeholder engagement

Desirable Experience
Experience in the following will be highly advantageous:

  • Enterprise test strategy and governance
  • Public sector or large programme delivery environments
  • Multi-system integration testing
  • Test environment and test data management
  • Mentoring and leading testing resources

  • Strong in stakeholder communication and governance reporting
  • Experienced in fast-paced delivery environments
  • Comfortable coordinating across business and technical teams
  • Focused on quality assurance and successful delivery outcomes
