eir business talent are currently seeking applicants for a Senior DevOps Engineer. This is a day rate contract position located with our client in Dublin 1. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days on-site per week. 

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across the Microsoft ecosystem, strong architectural capability, and a proven track record in delivering secure, scalable enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert on Microsoft product architecture and propose fit‑for‑purpose solutions.
  • Design applications, interfaces, and software services, ensuring alignment with established architecture, security, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and development teams to ensure solution designs meet requirements.
  • Engage with technical partners and vendors on complex technical matters.
  • Support cloud and hybrid SDLC strategies and assist with planning and implementing software upgrades.
  • Produce technical documentation, including Low‑Level Design materials, and participate in requirements‑gathering workshops.
  • Develop scalable, high‑performing CRM systems, including Dataverse configuration, platform extensions, and integrations with internal and external systems.
  • Conduct performance analysis and propose solutions to optimise system performance.
  • Provide user training and ongoing support for internally developed applications.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in architecture, design, development, and maintenance of Microsoft .NET applications, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Strong ability to document technical requirements, proposals, and development approaches.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
  • Extensive knowledge of .NET, C#, .NET Framework, and modern technologies such as TypeScript, React.js, HTML, CSS, SQL Server, RESTful APIs, and Azure services.
  • Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 architecture and integration across Microsoft and enterprise platforms.
  • Hands‑on experience designing and supporting Azure platform resources and enterprise‑scale solutions.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with data modelling and data integration.
  • Experience implementing Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, Customer Insights, or related modules.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Power Platform licensing models.
