eir business talent is looking to hire an experienced IT Organisational Change & Communications Lead for a 12 month contract position based in Dublin operating on a hybrid working model (3 days onsite per week and 2 days work from home)
The IT Organisational Change & Communications Lead is responsible for end‑to‑end oversight, coordination and delivery of IT executive, governance and end‑user communications and change reporting across client’s Enterprise IT landscape.
The role ensures that IT initiatives, risks, incidents, and changes are communicated clearly, consistently, and effectively to executive leadership, governance forums, and the wider organisation, supporting informed decision‑making, business continuity, and successful adoption.
This position plays a critical decision‑support role within Enterprise IT, translating complex IT delivery, cyber, and operational inputs into clear, concise, and executive‑ready communication and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Board‑Level Reporting
- Own and coordinate the development of CEO‑level IT reports covering IT, GBS, CID, and Security.
- Support Board and Audit Committee materials, including Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) inputs.
- Produce and coordinate Executive downtime and major incident updates (e.g., SAP Priority 1 incidents).
- Ensure executive materials are accurate, aligned, risk‑based, and suitable for senior leadership and Board audiences.
IT Governance & Leadership Communications
- Develop and manage reporting and presentations for:
- IT Governance Committee (CIO)
- IT / GBS Town Halls
- IT and Cyber leadership presentations (e.g., ERP strategy)
- Ensure consistent core messaging across leadership forums.
- Translate programme, operational, and cyber delivery information into leadership‑relevant insights.
End‑User & Global IT Communications
- Coordinate IT Service Desk and Major Incident communications to end users.
- Manage IT end‑user updates during incidents, outages, and significant IT changes.
- Partner closely with Global Communications and Branding teams to ensure alignment with corporate communication standards.
- Ensure communications are timely, clear, actionable, and audience‑appropriate.
OCM & PMO‑Integrated Change Reporting
- Lead IT Project OCM Assessments aligned to PMO governance (e.g., Gate 2 readiness).
- Provide ongoing OCM oversight and planning support to IT project teams.
- Identify, track, and escalate change readiness, adoption, and communication risks.
- Embed OCM considerations into IT delivery rather than treating them as stand‑alone activities.
Local & Site‑Based Communications
- Coordinate site‑specific IT communications (e.g., Dublin office screens, events, and updates).
- Localise enterprise IT messaging while maintaining global consistency.
Cross‑Functional Coordination
- Act as the central coordination point between:
- Enterprise IT delivery teams
- Cyber & Security
- IT PMO
- Global Communications
- External partners and managed service providers
- Ensure a single version of truth across all IT communications.
Scope of Accountability
The role covers, but is not limited to, the following reporting and communication areas:
- CEO IT Reporting (weekly / monthly)
- Board & Audit Committee reporting (quarterly)
- ERM IT inputs (quarterly)
- IT Governance Committee reporting (bi‑monthly)
- IT / GBS Town Halls (quarterly)
- IT & Cyber executive presentations (ad hoc)
- Service Desk and Major Incident communications (ongoing)
- End‑user IT communications (ongoing)
- IT OCM assessments and oversight (ongoing)
- Site‑based IT communications (monthly)
- Executive downtime and incident updates (variable)
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT communications, organisational change, PMO, or transformation roles.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver C suite and Board level reporting.
- Experience operating in complex, matrixed IT environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical information
Candidates should hold appropriate RTWs for Ireland i.e. Stamp1G Spousal, Stamp 4, Irish/British/EU passport.
