Overview
Our client is looking for an Information Security Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate support the ongoing delivery and enhancement of security, risk, and compliance activities across the organisation. This is a daily rate contract role offering excellent daily rates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess information security risks and controls.
- Support security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk reviews.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements, including GDPR.
- Support incident investigation, response, and remediation activities.
- Contribute to security awareness initiatives and best practice adoption.
- Work with stakeholders to improve security governance and control effectiveness.
Key Experience:
- 3-5 years’ experience in Information Security, Cyber Security, Risk, or a similar role.
- Relevant third-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
- SSCP, CISMP, CISSP, or similar security certification desirable.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards, including NIST Cybersecurity Framework and ISO 27001.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements, including GDPR.
- Understanding of security technologies and practices such as vulnerability management, security auditing, intrusion detection, firewalls, and incident response.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
