Health & Safety Manager – Offaly

eir business talent are currently partnering with a leading construction contractor to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Manager for projects based in Offaly.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation delivering high-quality projects, with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

The Role
Reporting to senior management, you will take responsibility for overseeing and implementing health & safety standards across active project sites.
You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, promoting a strong safety culture, and supporting project teams to deliver works safely and efficiently.

Requirements
• Degree or diploma qualified in Health & Safety or related discipline
• 5+ years’ experience in a Health & Safety role within construction
• Strong knowledge of Irish health & safety legislation and regulations
• Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and site inspections
• Proven ability to implement and maintain H&S management systems
• Experience delivering training, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage with site teams and senior stakeholders
• Ability to influence and promote a positive safety culture on site
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH / IOSH desirable
