eir business talent is proud to be partnering with a global ICT technology organisation to support the hire of an Enterprise Business Development Manager as part of a strategic growth initiative within the Irish market.
This role is focused on driving new enterprise and public sector business across Ireland, developing long-term customer relationships, and delivering sustainable revenue growth through consultative, solution-led selling across a broad ICT portfolio.
Role Overview
The Enterprise Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new enterprise and public sector opportunities within the Irish market. This role operates at a strategic level, engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers to understand organisational challenges and align tailored ICT solutions to customer needs.
The role combines new business development, strategic account engagement, and commercial ownership, working closely with internal technical teams and channel partners to deliver end-to-end ICT solutions across networking, data centre, and infrastructure technologies.
Key Objectives
- Drive new enterprise and public sector revenue growth across Ireland
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned to market needs
- Identify and convert new market opportunities into executable commercial outcomes
- Strengthen the organisation’s enterprise and public sector market presence
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Market Growth
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies to grow enterprise and public sector ICT revenue
- Identify, qualify, and build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
- Lead new customer acquisition and market expansion initiatives
- Translate market trends, government policy, and customer demand into actionable sales opportunities
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers across enterprise and public sector customers
- Develop a deep understanding of customer challenges, procurement processes, and regulatory environments
- Position the organisation as a trusted strategic ICT partner through consultative engagement
Solution & Partner Collaboration
- Work closely with internal technical, product, and delivery teams to develop tailored ICT solutions
- Collaborate with channel partners to design and deliver customer-centric offerings
- Ensure solutions align to customer requirements across networking, data centre, storage, and infrastructure technologies
Commercial Leadership & Deal Execution
- Lead contract negotiations and close agreements to maximise commercial outcomes while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Own the end-to-end business development lifecycle from opportunity identification through to deal closure
- Provide structured feedback to senior management on market trends, competitive activity, and growth opportunities
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, procurement, and internal governance requirements
Candidate Profile
Essential Experience
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Business Development Manager or similar role within the ICT sector
- Strong track record of new business development within enterprise or public sector environments
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Solid understanding of ICT solutions, including networking, data centre, storage, and infrastructure technologies
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on revenue growth and pipeline development
Desirable Experience
- Experience working within the Irish public sector or regulated environments
- Familiarity with public sector procurement processes and frameworks
- Experience working with channel partners and multi-vendor solution environments
