Overview

eir business talent are currently seeking applicants for a Cybersecurity GRC Specialist. This is a day rate contract position located with our client in Dublin 2. This is a hybrid role. 
 
Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing security policies, protocols, and procedures.
  • Conduct security assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis.
  • Perform both internal and external security audits.
  • Analyse security breaches to identify the root cause.
  • Coordinate security plans with outside vendors. Develop, implement, and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise cybersecurity and IT risk management program.
  • Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.
  • Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
  • Stay current on IT security trends and news.
  • Develop company-wide best practices for IT security.
  • Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.

Qualifications (Mandatory):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related IT field.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or CompTIA Security+

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a security analyst/engineering role.
  • Proven experience in designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures.
  • Experience planning, researching, and developing security policies within an organisation.
  • Cyber Forensics / Data Analysis using ELK stack experience.
  • Microsoft Defender Technologies. 
  • Experience working in information risk and security-related best practices and awareness of the policies, standards, and regulations. (e.g. in areas such as IEC 27001, IEC 62443, NIST CSF and NIS Directive).
