eir business talent are currently seeking applicants for an AI Solution Architect. This is a day rate contract position position located with our client in Dublin/Cork. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days onsite per week. 

We’re partnering with a leading Irish organisation seeking an experienced Senior AI Solution Architect / AI Engineer to help establish and scale its AI capability.

This is a high-impact contract opportunity for an AI specialist who combines strong solution architecture expertise, hands-on AI delivery experience, and a passion for delivering measurable business outcomes through AI, Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and shape high-value AI opportunities across business and technology functions.
  • Facilitate AI workshops and engage with stakeholders to define use cases and business value.
  • Design end-to-end AI-enabled solutions and implementation roadmaps.
  • Redesign business processes using AI, automation and Agentic AI capabilities.
  • Lead technical delivery of PoCs, prototypes and production-ready AI solutions.
  • Support AI governance, standards, best practices and capability development.
  • Mentor teams and provide technical leadership across projects and programmes.

Essential Experience

  • Extensive experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Applications or Technical Design.
  • Proven track record delivering complex enterprise solutions.
  • Practical experience designing and implementing AI and Generative AI solutions in production environments.
  • Experience with Agentic AI, RAG architectures and Responsible AI principles.
  • Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation and business engagement skills.
  • Experience driving business transformation through technology and automation.

Technical Skills Strong experience with several of the following:

  • Azure OpenAI
  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Microsoft 365 Copilot
  • Copilot Studio
  • Power Platform
  • Azure AI Services
  • Microsoft Graph
  • Microsoft Purview

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong architecture background with a recent focus on AI and Generative AI.
  • Hands-on experience building AI solutions while retaining a strategic design mindset.
  • Able to translate business challenges into practical AI-enabled solutions.
  • Passionate about applying AI to deliver tangible business value.
  • Comfortable working across business, architecture and delivery teams.
