Overview
Senior GRC Lead – Managed Services (Contract)
Dublin | Hybrid (3 days onsite)
I’m currently working with a large-scale, multi-year managed services programme that is looking to bring in a Senior Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Lead to play a key role in shaping and embedding governance ahead of a major service go-live in 2027.
This is not a traditional audit or compliance role. The focus here is on practical governance, working closely with operations and delivery teams to ensure frameworks are realistic, operationally embedded, and fit for purpose in a live environment.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of reviewing and maturing the governance function across the programme, ensuring everything is contractually aligned, operationally achievable, and audit-ready ahead of Operational Readiness Testing later this year.
You’ll also work closely with an existing GRC resource, providing leadership, mentoring, and direction to build a strong, sustainable governance capability.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Reviewing and enhancing governance frameworks, policies, processes, and controls
- Ensuring full traceability across contracts, requirements, operations, and governance artefacts
- Acting as the bridge between governance and operational delivery
- Supporting Operational Readiness Testing (ORT) and Service Acceptance
- Driving audit readiness, including controls, evidence, and assurance activities
- Reviewing LLDs and operational documentation from a governance and managed services perspective
- Leading on Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery planning
- Identifying gaps, risks, and misalignments
- Engaging with senior stakeholders across multiple workstreams

- ITIL / Service Management
- Operational Governance
- Audit & Assurance
- Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery
- Operational Readiness / Service Acceptance
