Overview
eir business talent is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to deliver high-quality insights through advanced analytics and Power BI visualisation, supporting enterprise data reporting, data quality and decision-making.This is a 24-month contract role operating on a hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, transform, and analyse data from multiple sources to deliver actionable insights.
- Design and maintain enterprise data models supporting ingestion, transformation and consolidation.
- Develop and optimise Power BI dashboards aligned with accessibility and visualisation standards.
- Improve data quality through automated validation and anomaly detection.
- Support data migration validation and ensure reporting platform performance optimisation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
- Ensure compliance with ICT security, data governance and reporting standards.
- Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Candidates must clearly demonstrate the following:
- Experience: Minimum 7 years’ professional experience as a Statistician / Data Analyst, including hands-on Data Analyst experience in Ireland within a recognised (non-start-up) organisation.
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or a related discipline.
- Advanced Analytics & Forecasting: Proven experience applying advanced analytical techniques, including predictive forecasting and full data lifecycle methodologies.
- Power BI Expertise: Strong hands-on experience designing and developing advanced Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with industry visualisation and accessibility standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrated ability to engage directly with business users, gather requirements and translate them into technical data deliverables.
Candidates should hold appropriate RTWs for Ireland, i.e. Stamp 1G (spousal), Stamp 4, or an Irish/British/EU passport.
