Process Engineer – Waterford (12+ Month Contract)

eir business talent is currently hiring a Process Engineer for our client based in Waterford. This is a 12+ month contract role with strong potential for extension, requiring onsite attendance 5 days per week.
Reporting to the Product Supply Team Lead, the successful candidate will support manufacturing operations within a highly regulated GMP environment, ensuring reliable product supply and driving continuous improvement initiatives across production processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide process engineering support across manufacturing operations
  • Support continuous improvement and equipment optimisation projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including MSAT, Quality Assurance, Technical Development, and Supply Chain
  • Lead technical investigations and root cause analysis activities
  • Support new product introductions, process qualifications, and capacity expansion projects
  • Analyse equipment performance data to improve OEE, yield, and operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards

Requirements

  • Degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills
  • Experience with data analysis and integrated manufacturing systems is advantageous

 
Candidates should hold appropriate RTWs for Ireland i.e. Stamp1G Spousal, Stamp 4, Irish/British/EU passport.
