Overview

eir business talent is recruiting a Cloud Software Developer for a contract opportunity with one of our client supporting cloud engineering, DevOps pipelines and data platform services across Microsoft Azure and related technologies.
 
Location
This role operates under a hybrid working model, with the primary location in Dublin. The successful candidate will be required to attend onsite 2 days a week. The contract duration will be 12 months
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build and support secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and services
  • Develop and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions
  • Provision infrastructure using Terraform and related tooling
  • Support cloud application development and lifecycle management across Azure IaaS/PaaS
  • Deliver data platform solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Logic Apps and Azure Functions
  • Support container-based deployments, APIs, SFTP integrations, and cloud migrations
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, security tooling and DevOps best practices
  • Administer Linux and Windows environments using scripting and automation tools

 
Required Experience

  • 4–6+ years’ experience as a Cloud Software Developer / Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Cloud certifications in Microsoft Azure (or related network/security certifications)
  • Strong experience with:
    • Microsoft Azure
    • Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD
    • Terraform
    • PowerShell, Shell/Bash/KSH scripting
    • Linux and Windows administration
    • APIs, containers and cloud integrations
    • Microsoft Fabric / Azure data services

 
Desirable

  • Experience with public cloud security and monitoring tools
  • Data platform migration experience
  • Strong enterprise DevOps and automation background
