Overview
eir business talent are currently recruiting for a Senior Business Talent for our client in Trim,Meath and work 3 days a week onsite and 2 days remotely. This is a 6-month contract with probable extensions
Responsibilities:
- Conduct structured workshops, interviews, surveys, and observations across all business units (with a particular focus on Systems &
- Innovation, Inclusion & Education Support Services, Service Delivery Support and Therapy Services).
- Document as-is processes, system functionality, data flows, and pain points.
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop future-state process models aligned with Cloud Strategy.
Specification Development
- Produce detailed business requirements specifications (BRS).
- Develop functional requirements (FRs) and non-functional requirements (NFRs).
- Document data requirements, data dictionaries, and entity models.
- Define user roles, permissions, and workflow requirements.
- Produce system integration requirements for interoperability across systems and external partners.
Technical & Architectural Alignment
- Ensure that requirements align with:
- Cloud Strategy principles
- Government cloud-first policies
- Cybersecurity, data protection, and accessibility standards
- Collaborate with ICT (Systems and Innovation) and external technical advisors to ensure feasibility.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with leadership, administrative staff, SENOs/Team Managers, Visiting Teachers,
- Therapists, Advisors, other professionals and external partners.
- Facilitate validation sessions to confirm requirements accuracy.
Documentation & Deliverables
- Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
- Business Process Maps (as-is and to-be).
- System User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
- High-Level Solution Options and Recommendation Report.
- Detailed specifications for procurement documents
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in cloud-based system analysis, digital transformation, and enterprise system procurement.
- Proven ability to create detailed system specifications.
- Experience developing Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) process maps, user stories, and functional requirement catalogues.
- Strong understanding of data protection, cybersecurity, and interoperability requirements.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
Desirable Experience
- Experience in education, health, or disability-services sectors.
- Experience supporting the procurement of enterprise systems (CRM, case management, resource allocation, data platforms, etc.).
- Certification in BABOK, IIBA, Agile, or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of Irish public-sector ICT frameworks and procurement rules.
