Senior Cloud Developer
Co Meath – Hybrid 3 days onsite
36 Month Contract
eir business talent have partnered with an organisation in Co Meath, we are looking for a Multi‑Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the cloud‑native applications and backend services that support core enterprise systems. The role focuses on delivering scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions across both Azure and AWS, using modern development practices, automation, and cloud‑native architectures.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop cloud‑based applications and services using Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure API Management, AWS Lambda, and Amazon API Gateway.
• Build and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and event‑driven architectures using .NET / C#.
• Design and implement infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform, Bicep, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild.
• Implement cloud security best practices, including identity and access controls using Azure AD (Entra ID) and AWS IAM.
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong hands‑on experience developing cloud applications on both Azure and AWS.
• Proficiency in .NET / C#, API development, and distributed system design.
• Experience with serverless computing, microservices, and event‑driven patterns.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, identity management, and secure configuration.
• Practical experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation).
• Experience building automated deployment pipelines and working within DevOps environments.
Required Certifications
Azure and AWS related certifications, eg: Azure / AWS Developer Associate or similar
